Raluca State is a full-time consultant specializing in the ideation and activation of national marketing and public relations campaigns for brands in the luxury lifestyle and hospitality space. Her areas of focus include senior-level strategic planning and communications, traditional and digital media relations, content development, brand partnerships, influencer engagement and partnerships, and highly curated, influencer-focused event activations.

Raluca has worked extensively in the luxury goods, hospitality and consumer products space and has played an instrumental role in national publicity campaigns for some of the most renowned brands in the country, including Soho House, J. Crew, Madewell, The Cipriani Group, Viceroy Hotel Group, SBE, Paligroup, Marie Claire and many more. She has also been at the helm of launch campaigns for well-respected independent brands in the fashion and hospitality space including Buck Mason, Koral Los Angeles, PRG Hospitality Group, and others.

Prior to establishing herself as an independent consultant in late 2008, Raluca was an account supervisor at BNC (Bragman, Nyman, Cafarelli), a leading entertainment and lifestyle agency in Los Angeles, where she specialized in media relations and new business development within the corporate/entertainment lifestyle division, with a focus on luxury hospitality.

A native of Montreal, Canada, Raluca graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and is fluent in French; she is also a blogger and editor of the lifestyle site What Would Gwyneth Do.
