Raluca State is a public relations consultant specializing in senior-level strategic planning and communications, media relations, social media and the development and activation of leading national marketing campaigns.

Raluca has worked extensively in the luxury goods, hospitality and consumer products space and has played an instrumental role in national publicity campaigns for some of the most renowned brands in the country.

Further, Raluca has experience in special event press activations, managing red carpet and marquee events and activating consumer and VIP initiatives for brands at the Emmy Awards, the Sundance Film Festival and the Independent Spirit Awards, among others.

Prior to establishing herself as an independent consultant in late 2008, Raluca was an account supervisor at BNC (Bragman, Nyman, Cafarelli), a leading entertainment and lifestyle agency in Los Angeles, where she specialized in media relations within the corporate/entertainment lifestyle division.

A native of Montreal, Canada, Raluca graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and is fluent in French; she is also a blogger and editor of the lifestyle site WhatWouldGwynethDo and is a contributing writer to The Huffington Post, The Chalkboard Mag and The Conversation.
